Featured Replies

Please can anyone recommend the easiest border run for a 90 day stamp from Bangkok

I know there are lots of posts on border runs but cant seem to find many comparisons and good and bad experiences plus costs would be a huge help

Thanks in advance for any help

Nearest and least costly is the Ban Phu Nam Ron in Kanchanaburi province to Myanmar. It costs 960 baht for transport across no mans land and back included is the 500 baht for the border pass to Myanmar.

To Cambodia the Ban Laem crossing is best. A visa on arrival has a official fee of $30 but may cost more.

If you want use a organized trip I can recommend this company that goes to both crossings. https://www.thaivisaservice.com/

Book well in advance for a one day return BKK to KL and back same day.

Might cost slightly more than a white knuckle journey in a minivan and it's more relaxing, for me anyway.

Just my thoughts.

Duty free stuff is more likely to be genuine as well. ?
