Hey all,

 

I am on a 15 day VOA stamp using a Fiji passport. I need to stay longer than that. If I can't extend my visa through an immigration office then I'm hoping I can do a visa run to Myanmar or Laos via land border.I'll be in Chiang Mai/Chiang Rai until Aug 11 and in Pattaya until the 15th.

 

Does anyone have an experience with this or can give me any advice?

There is not extension possible for a 15 day visa on arrival entry. You can only get 7 days to leave the country after applying for an extension, paying 1900 and having it denied. 

You could get a new visa on arrival at the Mae Sai crossing to Myanmar in Chiang Rai province.
