Tell as what mobile phone you are currently using?

Triumph T120, or maybe T100 or the Kawasaki Vulcan S.... obviously Vulcan is a lot cheaper.... can’t make my mind up.

Samsung Galaxy J7+, so so mobile, still running android 7.1.1.

 

Think I gonna get myself a Pocophone F1, same overall size but the screen is 6.18", Sammy is 5.5" .

 

De-sided against the MiMax3/Honor Note10, they are just too big for me man.

 

I will NEVER own a Samsung phone again.

 

Oh, I also have a Kawa Versys 650cc, great bike.

75% of the World's mobile phones are made in China, that's a lot of phones to be snooping on, so I think it's fair to say that, unless you're some business titan whose latest technology is worth stealing, your sexting history is safe with the Chinese. 

 

BTW, I have a Huawei P9 - a great Chinese phone.

made it China is not the same as a Communist Chinese company selling cellphones. 

Samsung S8 plus.. would never go for a cheap phone as i like how accurate the GPS is when i use the phone in my car. I also like that its water tight.. good when your out on the bike and get wet.

I think the US system is monitoring too and if certain words are said, they will be more scrutinized and move to human level if enough alarm bells goes off. 

 

Only way to stay off the grid is never go on-line or even use a phone, live in a hut somewhere in the jungle in north Thailand but that would be boring for most.

I doubt they are doing that, security audits on routinely done and they will be banned from distributing android by Google.

Saying that if you are one of the flat earth people but like Chinese phones then just root the phone, remove bloatware, install system wide ad blocker. delete wireless update and unroot. Install network connections app.

Huawei have canceled the ability to root  in July so if they're stealing your data there is nothing you can do about it

And that info is collected by the NSA  who have files on everyone already.

They havent cancelled the ability to root but they are stop giving out codes to unlock the bootloader which is a pre requisite to rooting your phone.

Im sure somebody will find away to get round it.

Trust me, I've tried even professional unlock company's and they refunded me because even they couldn't do it

If it is an MTK chip have you tried using ADB and reboot to the bootloader  and type " fastboot oem unlock" worked for 3 Chinese phones I had.

 

Open developer options and enable debugging mode

Download Minimal ADB 

Boot into bootloader

Type "fastboot oem unlock"

 

You need to make sure ADB reconises device in both phone mode and fastboot mode by typing adb devices

If it worked and you unlocked the bootlader you can look in developer options and the OEM unlock will be switched on and cannot be turned off.

 

Edit: Well i guess my advise is useless as they use there own chipset so can basically do what they want. 

Stupid really becasue people like me who liked to have phones rooted will choose another manufacturer that can be rooted.
