So on a few Facebook groups for Thai visas here in Thailand there has been a rumor floating around that people with non o Visa extensions based on retirement have been asked here in Chiang Mai at the immigration office to Show additional documentation on top of having the u.s. notarized document saying how much money you make. Someone brought up the question has anybody experienced this and for me I have the marriage extension and I'm wondering if they are enforcing it for that one as well because mine comes up in December to renew and I would like to know if I have to be prepared for this

A topic was about it was posted on this forum not long ago about it but it was proven to not to be factual.

I have seen no recent posts of anybody being asked for back up proof for their income affidavit.
