ok, a couple of things will make up his mind. How much cash in his foreign account and can he spend it before he dies, or the opposition is an absolute shambles and he can't lose.Which his so-called loyal men are doing right now to make it that way with these special laws

Or, he can do whatever he likes. Not enough people in this country seem to care. Reminds me of frogs being in cold water and then slowly being cooked and boiled to death.

I agree that people don't really care. But really why should they? What choice do they have? All political parties have exactly the same agenda. There is no workers party, farmers party, Socialist party, Green party etc. They have a choice of only business parties , low tax on the rich, no capital gains tax and most politicians have no other policy except to join the government, whatever the government's policies.

The above is the reason why most governments in the past have been a military. I remember a long time ago when there was a by-election in Bangkok and only 29% of the people voted. The majority voted for a military candidate. I don't think things have changed very much .

overall a fair comment and wouldn't envisage any change this time around - just more of the same.

Yawn....everybody can see his crystal balls, I mean crystal ball, he is in for the running, yawn.....Zzzzz

If he wasn't in the running he wouldn't have invested so much time setting things up to get the nomination as leader through various options. In the end he doesn't care about what a law or constitution says, he'll just change it if he needs to in order to do whatever he feels like doing.
