Evangeline Lilly's Wasp is a standout part of Marvel's latest blockbuster Ant-Man and The Wasp, but the star isn't keen on the idea of her own solo movie.

Speaking at Fan Expo Boston (via ComicBook.com), Evangeline believes that a large part of the Wasp's appeal is the pairing of the character with Ant-Man.

"I like the MCU and I'd like to stay," she said. "But I actually don't like the idea of a Wasp standalone film, because Ant-Man and Wasp, since the very beginning in the comic books, were always a team.

"And really, they're kind of one of the only proper and true teams in the MCU. Otherwise, it's mostly a lot of individuals.

I really enjoyed the movie. Both the main actors were great, the dialogue sharp and witty, and supported by the two absolute legends that are Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas.

I like her even more now. Glad she’s not trying to push some outside agenda and realizes their chemistry together is what makes the film.
