Bredbury Blue Posted February 7, 2007 Share Posted February 7, 2007 We usually stay at the Botany Beach Resort Pattaya and are currently thinking of going for a week mid-Feb. Heard that there are construction sites either side of Botany, can anybody confirm this, and is it noisy (i.e. likely to spoil a holiday stay there)? There are construction sites both sides, with Ocean Marina's Portofino tower going up next door on the east side and View Talay / Baan Talay on the west side. Didn't spoil the enjoyment but construction noise can be heard in the main botany building - definatley wouldn't want to be in the bungalows though. Botany - nice place (been about a dozen times now) but has a terrible breakfast (the same day after day, year after year) and now too many russians, but good value.
