snoop1130
Guidelines set for media as ABC airs interview and 2 others wait their turn By Natthapat Phromkaew The Nation The media may ask for permission to interview the 13 members of the Mu Pa (Wild Boar) Academy Mae Sai, who were rescued from the flooded Tham Luang cave under the world’s spotlight last month. “If you contact relevant authorities and comply with guidelines, you can do the interview,” Deputy Government Spokesman Lt-General Werachon Sukondhapatipak said on Thursday after US broadcaster ABC News aired its interview with the Mu Pa members. The guidelines, for example, require the presence of a psychologist during interviews and a pre-interview screening of questions. Werachon says ABC News is the first news agency to have sought permission for “constructive communications” from the committee, which is chaired by Culture Minister Vira Rojpojchanarat. “In the queue for interviews now are NBC News and CNN,” Werachon said. Popular Post rkidlad
These boys must be the very first officially state owned children. Shame the state wasn’t so interested in a few of these boys before they went in the cave. 6
Scott
I saw the interview. It's nice to see something heart-warming on the news. We have plenty of the not-so-nice stuff.

brain150
I did not see the interview ! Did they ask the kids [and their coach] how it feels to do something incredibly stupid and irresponsible [going into unknown territory in unpredictable environmental circumstances] that lead to a multi million baht rescue operation [paid for by the tax payer and abused for Propaganda by the current Junta] in which one human being died ? ... or did they make them heroes that need to be rewarded ? What ever the answer will show the path Thai Society is headed for. 1. Making people responsible for their actions ? [Not punishment !] 2. Gratification of irresponsibility and stupidity ? 3. Plain insanity for the sake of Propaganda ? [Social Engineering] PS: I do think the rescue operation was necessary and everything needed to be done to save the children ! But in no way should they be made heroes or even idols for others !!! 1
