September 1, 20187 yr If here on a 60 day SETV, when is it too soon to get your 30 day extension? Id like to get that out of the way as soon as possible.
September 1, 20187 yr Depends on the immigration office, i think most offices will do it if you have less than 30 days left, but some offices might only do it if you have less than a week left.

I’ve heard of people getting extensions at Bangkok with a month to go, but you’re taking a chance if applying with more than a week to go.

September 2, 20187 yr In the past, (many years ago) I have done this with over 30 days left without any comment from the officer. Now, Jomtien immigration specify 30 days as the rule. However, during the busy period, (Dec - Feb or after a public holiday) you may well get rejected by reception if you have more than 7 days remaining. It depends how busy they are.
