Gomer Pyle would have to pull over so many traffic violations to pay for those uniforms.

  • That's an army in itself, unbelievable!

  • Its a wonder he had money left to buy that fancy uniform after the millions he parted with to get the job.

  • Thats a lot of medals for an army that has only ever fought against its own people. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

If they're not terrified of their own largely unarmed and apparently loyal and/or disengaged people...

Then the 935 can only be there to keep an eye on each other.

Divide and rule, safety in numbers, etc etc etc.

Has there ever in all human history been so many flag rank officers in a peacetime joint chiefs of staff?

I take it this is the combined services tally.

Yet even so...

No,  just have a lot of dead wealthy friends, like his boss...

Where are Trojans when you need them?

That's condoms or ancient warriors,  either would not hurt to thin out the deadwood on parade   ?

These proud veterans earned their gongs from the hard fought campaigns featuring assorted commemorative charm offensives, Counter insurgency ops on the indestructible  Soi 6 farang 'Penile Battalions' gruelling missions to Hawaii, top secret hazing courses that are so clandestine they 'never happened',  and a few stirring dawn raids on that well dug-in memorabilia guy in Banglamphu, next to the uni degree forgers stall. They are finely honed Walt-machines to a man.

The Thai soldiers (The Queen's Cobras) had over 1700 casualties in the Vietnam war with 351 killed in action. The CIA sponsored unit Air America also used some Isan Thais in their air opps in Laos from 1962 until 1975.

These guys are not those guys. Neither are they the cave team.

Let's get that settled, right now.

935 makes for a decent sized pyramid base, neded to support it!

 - from which the multitudes of Private doggy woggy walker slaves get picked from...

So all the crooks that stepped aside are running for seat in the up coming election. Which is rigged by mini me and mr I do not have any watches.

935 Generals? Sheesh! Nuff said.

That's an outrageous statement which should be rejected out of hand. You are overlooking the Great Thai Laotian Border War of 1987/8 under the inspired leadership of General "Big Jiew" Yongchaiyudh.

"Great"? A three month confrontation (skirmish)? :whistling:

Slightly OT but...........as bad as saying that Thailand has never been occupied by a foreign nation (military.) The country was occupied by the Japanese at some time during the Second World War, but the country was Siam NOT Thailand. Thus the "claim" of occupation was valid but very selectively claimed.

The name Siam existed until 24 June 1939 when it was changed to Thailand. Thailand was renamed to Siam from 1946 to 1948, after which it again reverted to Thailand.

You can be sure that the elections have been decided  with enough new laws in place to assure that there will never again be a family or single person able to get a hold over the government. I think that the military just might let Abhisit Vejjajiva back in as he seemed to be controllable.
