Funding for elite visa application

Featured Replies

Is there any requirement for the 500k to be wired in from your home country bank or will they accept it from any Thai bank?

From a Thai bank is fine. No need from home country.

Thanks for the prompt response

Is it possible to pay for someone else or does the payee name have to match the applicants name?

Myself/wife  would like to pay for a relative to join us if possible but she hasn't a bank account yet in Thailand and I read its getting really hard to open bank accounts on a tourist visa

I think it can be done but best to ask Thai elite about it.

Another option would be to withdraw the 500k baht and have her do the transfer.

I bought one for my 7 year old daughter so obviously didn't come from her account ?
I didn't need any proof I was her mother and she doesn't carry my surname.  Based on that I'd say Thai Elite don't require it to be from the same account.
Thai elite are very helpful if you just give them a call and ask them any question.
