Immigration in Samut Sahkon bad or good experience?

Featured Replies

Since coming to Thailand about 3 years ago I got married and left Bangkok and bought a house in Samut Sakhon so I had to let Immigration know of the move and where I am currently living plus had to renew marriage visa last month. I turned all the required documents and had them translated in thai as the office here would not take them unless accompanied with it translations I Thai language. Today I had the Immigration police show up at my door to see if my claim was real as the head officer did not believe the marriage was real and that the documents were faked lol. So, with a few family (wifes) and security here talk to the police and say that yes I do live here and it is our home. My question is have anyone here gone threw similar situation. Bangkok never gave me hassles nor Immigration to renew until I moved here.
