Non-B Visa Questions?

Featured Replies

As you guys remember immigration don't wanna do visa extension based upon work permit. My work permit(until 9 march 2019). But immigration don't wanna extend my visa because of I'm Turkish. So I'll go to Kota Bharu and every 3 months apply single entry Non-B visa.

Immigration recommend me do like that. And as they told; when I back to Thailand I don't need to apply new work permit. Just do every 3 months new visa.

I have a some questions;

1)Thai Consulate ok with that if I do every 3 months new Non-B visa?

2)Can I apply multiple entry(in my work permit 7 months left)?

3)According to this link for single entry 45 Euro(1,716 Baht - 216 RM) and multiple entry 115 Euro(4,385 Baht - 453 RM). Is that true? Also am I need to pay in RM or Baht?

4)What does it mean "Letter address to Thai consulate of Kota Bharu"? Letter from ministry of education to Thai Consulate in Kota Bharu or letter from company to Thai Consulate in Kota Bharu?

5)"Original approval letter from the Department of Labor or Department of Education" or that's mean letter from Ministry of Education?

6)"Course syllabus" I understand what does it mean but I don't get it actually what they want about this?

Thanks!

In principle, a series of single entry Non B visas should be possible. Note that you can apply on a Sunday at Kota Bharu, if you like, receiving the passport back after lunch on Monday. The consulate is closed Friday.

A multiple entry Non B is unlikely to be possible. Maybe, they would give you one if you still has at least 8 months left on the work permit.

I am not the right person to ask about requirements for Non B for teaching. You should ask your agency/school.
