Hi Guys thanks in advance my friend has a problem his Non O visa has expired based on being a Parent he has gone through a Seperation who’s the child’s Mother and she will not help give him relevant Paperwork to get a new visa he crossed the border near Myanmar twice given him two 30 days while he tried to fix the situation which hasn’t happened so basically he’s in real dilemma can he get a 30 day extension at a immagration office as he’s decided to apply for a Thai elite visa 5 year is this a good option?

He can apply for a 30 day extension of his visa exempt entry.

What is it he needs from his child's mother? With just their birth certificate and a copy of their house book registry he could get a 60 day extension.

IMO joining Thai Elite to get a 5 year visa is a good option.

Hi Ubon Joe the Non o visa has expired he’s got birth certificate etc but he’s done two border runs hoping his ex would change her mind, imagration wanted recent photos etc.he’s not gone to immagration because they was unhelpful when he took his son! No chance of his ex going with him!

do you think immagration will give a 30 day extension till he can apply for his Thai elite visa

Even tho he’s done two border crossings thankyou joe I’ll send him to try anyway

Yes they will.

People have gotten a total of almost 4 months by doing an entry extending it and then another with an extension.
