That's why I dislike going to these places.  Thais, Chinese - I'm not saying it doesn't happen in the West but I've watched it happen here -- but - I have never personally seen that type of obnoxiously rude and greedy behavior at any buffet in the US.  So, I simply can not be like that, so I completely steer clear.  I can't even watch the video - it's simply disgusting.  Supposedly humans acting like animals.  That gives animals a bad name -  My dogs have better self-control.

All up seems quite polite and civilized. If they were Chinese trourists there would be ten times more people fighting, pushing and shoving, yelling etc. and the food would be gone in a nano second. No comparison in my opinion.

If only Thais were as aggressively commited to reducing plastics and obeying laws..''Smell the love''

The Thais are having fun where as the Chinese acullary go in to battle like it’s there last meal. 

I've seen this before and it is the restaurants fault. They deliberately only put out enough of the good stuff for a few people even though many are waiting. That way the people are forced to eat cheaper things, save those with the sharpest elbows, and the restaurant laughs all the way to the bank.

Seen such stampedes happening in the US, UK and other countries in Europe - during sales, giveaways, free buffets etc. Some people simply cannot resist grabbing as much as they can, when something is offered for free or at a largely reduced price. Pure greed, I guess.

Thai friends brought us to the 199 bbq buffet restaurant....she loves that place and scored 1.5 kg of bacon for our table....

 

I ate almost nothing at all, don't like steamed bacon and the rest was all dogfood....

 

 

Like the movie "Gone in 60 seconds" but these people are pro's..

got the time down to clear a fresh load in about 15 seconds !!!

Love the lady in the striped top.. she's seriously scraping up the crabs and got her "I'm not messing about" face on  !!!
