February 9, 200719 yr Sukhothai is online Sukhothai is introducing its government E-Service. The Sukhothai Governor, Mr. Wanchai Suthin (วันชัย สุทิน), revealed that Sukhothai has launched its website: www.sukhothai.go.thai for general public users including students, and local citizens. The Sukhothai Governor said that the website would provide information services on governmental matters, in addition to government agencies and state entreprises covered under the E-Service. Users can apply for personal identification, official identification, driver license, house telephone, and water and electric services through the application forms available online. The E-Service is expected to offer greater service flexibility for the general public, and would save time and costs as opposed to showing up in person for services. February 9, 200719 yr Interesting site - seems to be predominantly downloads... Anyway one of the links off there leads to : http://www.pwa.co.th/english/index.html Where they state : "Piped water is not as costly as belived; it costs only one satang a litre." I'll remember that one next time I pay a few hundred baht for water in rented accomodation...
February 9, 200719 yr Man, most of those government websites sure lack uniformity in their appearance and presentation. Looks like first time high school HTML projects. Edited February 9, 200719 yr by Tony Clifton
