The Military have to ensure freedom. Dont start me, people eating sandwihes and reading books. It begins with a thought Then an idea Then people who agree And then in Thailand A Military Coup.

Don't give me any of this Newcastle United nonsense, the colours show protest against the junta: The white symbolising resistance, the black, the junta. A 'Fly Emirates' logo on top of that demonstrating your loyalty to the Shinawatra family. That sounds like treason to me. September 13, 20187 yr It wasn't too long ago they arrested a farang for not wearing a shirt at all. Understandable in a country where people are very thoughtful, you might say "picky", choosing their proper (government approved) attire:
September 13, 20187 yr a comment under Bangkok Post's article "CSD charges 'traitorous' T-shirt seller": "kwang Posted: 194 | 12 Sep 2018 at 15.17 Fact : The company that sells t-shirt with this logo - rectangular three color tabs, has been around in the market in this region - South East Asia and Southern China for more than 10 years...at least. I believe it comes from Hongkong or Shenzhen. It is popular for its low cost and good quality material. Use to own a couple of them some 10 years ago - good for sports and exercises"

I'm packing away all my red coloured shirts and tshirts until it's safe to be seen wearing in public
September 13, 20187 yr I notice they have sidelined Prawit's (Toady) name from this arrest, he seemingly was one of the main instigator of this woman's ridiculous predicament!

Big Joke, being Prawit's new sidekick is in top form covering up for his boss's foolish comments. Like his remarks about Koh Tao being a law abiding, corruption free and non-violent island. The Jokester can now produce as evidence a 20 metre heavy duty vinyl banner with a flow chart of this woman and all her treasonous underground blackshirts who supposedly want to steal part of Thailand away from the Thai military and make it independent. Throwing her in jail is sure to bring more international criticism and ridicule of the junta and it's paranoid leaders.

September 13, 20187 yr "Junta leaders on Tuesday called the group “treasonous”, so, wearing a T-shirt is "treasonous, but hey, isn't overthrowing an elected government even more treasonous, and just what is illegal about this underground movement.
September 14, 20187 yr What is the meaning of this federation? Is it an attempt to overthrow the [current] political system? Is it treason?” Does this statement suggest that an attempt to overthrow a political system is treason? The source of this quote may want to look in the mirror. Pot, kettle, black.

Very true. It is as it has always been, with the boys in green in control. Not so long ago they could pull the strings from within the barracks. Not so anymore and so the reason for the Coup is exposed. Take full control before the myth was exposed. Hard to see it any other now.
September 14, 20187 yr Someone should get an education on the difference between federation and republic. Idiot alert on.
