Sir Patrick Stewart is going to carve to some time in his Captain's Log for a little action-adventure back here on earth.

The actor recently signed up to reprise his classic role as Enterprise captain Jean-Luc Picardin an all-new Star Trek TV series, but now there's word that he is also in talks to play another iconic character in the reboot of Charlie's Angels.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sir Patrick is in advanced negotiations to join director Elizabeth Banks's revamp of the late '70s action TV series as the Angels' trusty sidekick Bosley.

Played by David Doyle in the TV show and Bill Murray in the previous movies, Bosley is like Q to the Angels' Bond in that he offers logistical support to help them complete their missions.
