Missing arrival departure card

Featured Replies

I am going to apply for extension of retirement. But I can see that the arrival part of my Tm6 is missing. What to do about that?

The "arrival' is retained when you arrived. What you should have is the "deparue" clipped in your passport for an "extension of stay based on retirement"

If you need the arrival section of your TM6 card , you could go back to your point of arrival and ask the immigration officer there to give it back to you ?

Why do you want it, anyway ?

You don't need the arrival part.  The departure part has the date you arrived stamped on it.  If you lost the departure part, my only experience was finding this was lost on departure.  The immigration officer just asked me to redo another departure card and he took that then as good as the lost one.

The Departure Card has recently been reduced in size.

At my last 90 day report the Immigration Officer asked me where it was , I guess first because  at airport arrivals they didnt staple it at the very back. But also,  as it doesnt 'stick out' as its smaller, I thought I had lost it to!

So have a good look again in your passport .

As I say , its much smaller.

Just a thought...

No problem ! I have lost the card a couple of times and just told them when I reapplied for the retirement visa. No problem, they said ?
