The U2 frontman met with the Pope in Vatican City earlier today (September 19)

 

Bono has met with Pope Francis at The Vatican, disclosing that the latter is “aghast” at the sexual abuse crisis in the Irish church.

 

The U2 frontman spoke with the pope as part of a meeting for Bono’s ONE organisation, which in its work is attempting to help tackle extreme poverty across the world.

 

The ONE organisation is teaming up with a school-focused papal group named Scholas Occurrentes following today’s events.

"Aghast"

But not "aghast" enough to release all the internal reports which name all the cases in which Catholic priests have been accused of sexual abuse !

But of course he won't go that far because if the whole truth of abuse on a worldwide scale becomes public the whole catholic empire will crash !!!!

That just shows how out of touch the Pope is, since every man and his dog has been aware of the scale of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church  for years and years.  Not only that, they have also been aware of all the cover ups, but apparently it has taken the Pope by surprise.  What utter nonsense!
