Events for a great Conference in Thailand

Featured Replies

Our company in Thailand is part of an International network and we have offices in Bangkok and Thailand. There are about 160 member companies worldwide and each year we have a 3 to 4 day conference for about 100 to 140 directors and I was thinking we could offer to host it in either Bangkok or Chiang Mai next year. The idea is to show off the location in a good light whilst proving a good conference in which we annually share ideas. We stage the conference in a hotel and usually have a day trip before and after the conference. I would just like to ask for ideas on

1) which location would be better Bangkok or Chiang Mai?

2) linked to that could anyone recommend a goid hotel venue?

3) what would be ideas for day trips events that are different?

4) during the conference nights what entertainment could we put on at the hotel ballroom restaurant or what special restaurants with entertainment for a big group could we go to that would make for a very enjoyable and memorable evening?

Thanks for any interesting suggestions you can provide.
