BANGKOK — A commercial bank on Wednesday said it would look into complaints its office tower is blinding residents.

SME Development Bank, whose headquarters are in Bangkok’s Phaya Thai business district, promised a remedy after pictures of the sun reflected from its windows went viral on social media.

I'm surprised anyone noticed, most are blind to the BS that goes on around them anyway!

the time has probably passed, when they could have paused to reflect upon the design!

they'll just have to coat each and every offending window, with polarised solarfilm,

or issue 10000 Polaroids...

hmmm, maybe Thai Logic will fix this?

all they have to do is wait a month, and go knock on the same doors.

Find the light doesn't affect those same people (due the relative Earth motion over time)

... and say it's been fixed!

Next year... who cares! that is not NOW

becoming a common problem in cities with high-rise shiny buildings with cars melting 'n stuff ..

Curtains installed in the residents apartment...... geez, some people are just wingers, I wonder how long the bank building has been there, or are the residents new.

There is a group of workers in BKK right now on a tower de construction job , maybe they could fix the plobrem.

If you bothered to read the article your question would be answered.

This building has been there for 24 years, and it's taken until now to notice the problem?

Let's not move too fast here. Eventually they will work out that the world is round and the rotation means that the sun is over the tropics (Capricorn on the 22nd of December and Cancer on the 21st of June) so the problem will only effect the observant ones for a short period of time.

Yes the smog has finally cleared up.

I read only the article on this site, did not read then full article, if that makes me a bad boy, then so be it....

The main point I was trying to make was, the bank building is not new.....

A new excuse for drivers crashing into one another. I was blinded by the Bank's glare. Sue the bank. Sure beats the old "Brakes failed" excuse.

This is a pic I took about 3 weeks ago. it caught my attention because it initially looked like the building was on fire. It is the famous MahaNakhon building.
