I can't retrieve my old topic about this so here we go again :

Does anyone knows for sure where i can have my carburetors synchronized in Bangkok ? Probably have them cleaned at tuned at the same time.

It's a CB400SF.
 

Honda bigwig : Can't do

Streets repair shop : Mai dai (couldn't find a street vendor which was handling big bike / multi-cylinders & carbs.

 

 

Any one has any idea for sure ? Please don't tell me to check on youtube ???? i have neither the tools nor the experience to do that by myself.

At least the chief technician (don't know if this is the correct title) is a big bike specialist and he speaks English very well.

I'd second RedBaron, they're supposed to be quite competent.

 

They used to charge a 10,000 Baht "joining fee" before they'd do any work on your bike, but that was back when they were one of about 3 shows in town. With all the big bike places opening up I'd imagine they dropped that nonsense but best to check.

Yep i know red barron, serviced my bike a couple of years ago and there was no 10K entry.

But they are just ... SOOoOOoOoo faaaaaaaaaaaaar away argh nooooo i don't .... want to go there arghhhhhh....

 

I'm gona give them a call and see what they say.

You asked for Bangkok, they are in Bangkok.

You could have ask more precise maybe if there is a big bike service center near Nana Plaza. No there isn't. ????

Yeah. A really big beer.

By the time carbs are stripped, checked, cleaned, re-assembled with new gaskets & o rings, several cases of beer... And we have'nt even got to synching them yet....

Well they are helluva lot closer to you than me!

I've not heard too many bad reports about RB. Sounds like they are your man/team/place.

Now that's what i was talking about ! a real mechanic, not the so called big bike services center shops which can only change your tires / chain.
