Pattaya Beach rebuild moves to Soi 4

PATTAYA:--The rebuilding of Pattaya Beach has moved to Soi 4 with the area closed off thru to Soi 7.

 

Heavy machinery is now at work adding new sand to the beachfront and building underwater foundations to prevent erosion. The area is marked off with fences and sandbags.

 

The northern section of beach, however, is now complete and is welcoming tourists to enjoy the wider and whiter sand.

 

The original schedule called for the entire beach to be rebuilt by Nov. 19, but that clearly won’t happen at the pace contractors are moving

I think they intend leaving a bakhoe on the beach to fill in after each flooding........
