There are things in this world that even someone of your Online IQ of 137 (LOL) are incapable of understanding. The most significant single individual on this planet right now, for good or bad, is Trump. If a product you buy costs more today than it did 27 February 2026, it is because of Trump. That alone makes him significant. The parents of 168 elementary school girls in Minab, Iran also consider him significant in a bad way, as do decent human beings who have that quaint old human trait of empathy. Then there are those of us who served the nation Trump currently is destroying. Never in the US' 250 years has a more corrupt and anti-American President held the reins of power. Perhaps you've read the Bill of Rights, which constitute the first 10 Amendments to the US Constitution? The first item notes and guarantees the basic human right of free speech, which means we are entitled to be as critical of leadership as we wish. The US has no anachronistic lese majeste laws. Other nations are welcome to have those, but the Founders of the US knew the potential dangers inherent in such laws. That is why they wrote the 1st Amendment, rather than just borrow the Magna Carta. The US also was founded to have a free press and allow its citizens the right of peaceful assembly. Trump has repeatedly shown evidence of being against all of those. He accuses critics of "treason", himself being ignorant of the legal definition of that term. He pushes to muzzle the voices of critics in media, even comedians who host late night TV shows. IN Trump 1.0 he ordered "stormtroopers" to beat and tear gas people peacefully protesting in Lafayette Park, across PA Ave from the White House, just so he could wobble up for a photo op holding a Bible upside down in front of a church. Recent reports claim Trump, along with the vile mutant Stephen Miller, want to suspend habeas corpus, too. Everything Trump does points to a person hellbent on being an autocrat, and trying to get around the checks and balances of shared leadership and control established by the Founding Fathers. Personally, I remain outraged that the scumball stole highly classified documents that included those classified as HCS, which means Human Clandestine Sources. As a former agency case officer, I both recruited and handled such assets, and was obliged to put my own life on the line for them, if need be. Since you never served anything, you have no idea what that commitment means. Because of the damage control necessary owing to Trump's theft, some foreign assets had to be ex-filled from their nation, lest they be rounded up and possibly executed. (Putin has a habit of feeding suspected spies live into a furnace while the person's family is forced to watch and hear the screams.) The US thus lost assets who, inter alia, reported on plans and intentions of hostile foreign nations as well as terrorist groups. Trump already was responsible for the beheading of an Israeli penetration of an Islamic terror group when he mouthed off to FM Lavrov and Amb Kislyak in the Oval Office during Trump 1.0, right after he fired FBI Director Comey. The only possible explanation for Trump's theft after his first term ended is that he intended to monetize the stolen documents, as he was financially strapped at that time. In fact, the corrupt Trump only regained his financial footing after entering office for his second term, as he has spent the last 18 months grifting off his position. Now some of us, for right or wrong, consider the damage Trump has done and continues to do to be much more important that visiting all 66 or however many Thai provinces there are. Sure, on an obscure Forum it's pretty pointless, but our patriotism and belief in both justice and American ideals drive our actions. We vent. You are welcome to ignore any posts related to Trump on this side, but apparently you are incapable of doing that. I have spent a few paragraphs here explaining my obsession. I wonder what drives your obsession, since just ignoring any post related to Trump would be pretty easy to do. You, however, cannot do that, and constantly post the same silly comment about "getting a life". Perhaps you should take your own advice about getting a life, as you seem to lack one of any substance or merit?
