In a recent interview with ComicsExplained, Venom stars Tom Hardy and Riz Ahmed are asked what their favorite scene is in the upcoming comic-book movie, and Hardy’s answer is rather revealing:

"There’s things that aren’t in this movie. There are like 30 to 40 minutes worth of scenes that aren’t in this movie. Mad puppeteering scenes. Dark comedy scenes. You know what I mean? They just never made it."

Hardy appears to be strongly implying that his favorite scenes aren’t in the film at all, likely cut due to appeal to censors and achieve that disappointing PG-13 rating the film received.

It’s a brutally honest answer, and one that movie stars don’t normally give when promoting their latest film.
