The man, identified by police as Kaden Richards, is receiving treatment at Nakornping Hospital after allegedly fleeing the resort on a motorcycle and crashing into parked vehicles. He faces a charge of assault causing death. Mae On Police received the report in the early hours of September 2, 2026, after an alleged assault at room five of a resort in Moo 8, Huai Kaeo subdistrict. Woman found dead at the scene Rescue workers found the woman with fatal injuries in the room. She was identified as Alosinee, 26, from Chang Phueak in Chiang Mai city district. Police and investigators found bloodstains outside room five, near the foot of the bed and across the bathroom floor. A knuckle-duster-style weapon, with roughly five-centimetre spikes, was found on the bathroom floor and taken as evidence. The body has been sent to Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital for a post-mortem examination to establish the cause of death. The resort caretaker told police that Alosinee had checked in with the male guest at 4.45pm on September 1. They had booked room five for three nights. Guest allegedly fled naked At around 3am the following morning, the caretaker heard a loud argument coming from the room and went to knock on the door. Police said the male guest, who was naked, opened the door before running outside. He took a motorcycle parked beside the road and rode towards Mae On. Shortly afterwards, he collided with a parked car and pickup outside a Royal Project shop, damaging the vehicles and suffering injuries himself. Rescue workers initially took him to Mae On Hospital before he was transferred to Nakornping Hospital in Chiang Mai. Mae On Police have ordered investigators to detain him under guard at the hospital, while they continue questioning and establish the full circumstances of the case.
