Need Advice About Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

Im from lithuania and i need help. in december i got airline ticket for 37 days to thailand(march19-april26) and at that time i could stay in thailand 60 days. few days ago i wanted to know thai consulate number and i found that from january 1 i could stay only 30 days. So i dont know what to do? maybe u can give me some advices.....

The period you indicate is 39 days in Thailand.

Normally, a tourist visa, which you obtain from the Thai embassy/consulate in your country, allows a stay of 60 days in Thailand:

2. TOURIST VISA

Upon arrival, travellers with this type of visa will be permitted to stay in the Kingdom of Thailand for a period not exceeding 60 days.

I suggest you call the embassy once more and ask if the 60 days also applies to you.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

Lithuania is a list B country so only receives a 30 day permitted to stay on arrival with a tourist visa. But I believe you can extend your stay for up to 30 days with a visit to Immigration and payment of 1,900 baht TM.7 fee.

you may extaned your visa every month for a total of 90 days in Thailand,it used to 2+1 extension now it is 1+1+1=90days I think this changed of the 1st October
