The slab blocking a traffic lane on Ratchavipha flyover Monday morning

 

BANGKOK — Police said a truck driver was charged Monday with reckless driving for a large concrete barrier that fell from his vehicle last night.

 

Pradit Jobdee, 44, was transporting a slab for a railway construction site in northern Bangkok when it crashed at about 1:30am onto Ratchavipha flyover. A local police chief said officers are investigating the accident.

I wonder if the brakes failed ?

First he is charged and then it is investigated. Why bother? He is charged already.

Be sure to let us know when they get it back onto a truck and find a sober driver.

Could've been worse .. Imagine having to clear up 7 tons of these prickly little mother------- that dropped off the back of a truck ..

Probably the old excuse of not having the load secured properly and took some kind of action which sent it spilling off the trailer!!

The title of the article makes it sound like it fell off the BTS itself. Poor writing.
