PHUKET: The chief of the Phuket Lifeguard Service (PLS) has today told The Phuket News that beachgoers should still be on alert for the dangers at Phuet beaches and should only enter the water were lifeguards are stationed.

 

The warning comes after three tourists were pulled from the surf at Nai Thon Beach yesterday (Oct 11).

Speaking to The Phuket News today, (Oct 12), Chief of the PLS Prathaiyuth Chuayuan said, “The beaches are not safe if there are no lifeguards. Beachgoers should only eneter the water where lifeguards are stationed.

I really do hope these alleged lifeguards have upped their game and learnt something by now.

There were numerous reports and them standing around watching members of the public doing the lifesaving, giving CPR too.

Where do they live?

Beachgoers should only enter the water where the lifeguards are stationed....wouldn't those lifeguard stations be where the most dangerous parts of the beach be? Oh just remembered TIT.
