Welcome to ThaiVisa.

:o

For your situation, the best way is to get a multiple-entry non-immigrant visa from an honorary consulate in the UK, e.g. in Hull, Birmingham, Liverpool, etc. every year before your trip. Application can be made by mail, if you wish. Reason for visit: “visit friends”. Check out the website of the consulate of your choice, give them a call first if in doubt about the requirements. With this visa, you can enter as many times as you want during a 12-month period and on each entry you get permission to stay for 90 days. For a 180-day stay, therefore, you will have to leave and re-enter Thailand at least once.

Hi

Open flight tickets usually cost a bomb, somewhere in the region of double or triple the price. Like wise with one way tickets they are dearer than a return, doesn't make any sense.

You can book a 6 month return for usually the same price as a standard return.

Many thanks
