Lone Ranger
I'm very low tech & am not interested in anything other than calls & texts no internet etc etc . I have an old Galaxy Samsung smartphone using DTAC every 8 weeks I keep getting told I have used up my credit -I pay 1k baht pre-paid ...wife informs me it's time billed ie after 8 weeks that's it I have to top up . I only make about 20 calls a month so can anyone out there please advise me is there a cheaper alternative ie True/ AIS ?And if so what package ? Many thanks. KhunBENQ
Do you say that you have to top-up 1000 (!) Baht every 8 weeks? The 20 calls are domestic? And how long? I have AIS since ages. My current (running low) credit is some 77 Baht and valid until Oct 17, 2019. I need to top-up what I use and that is mostly due to intermittent use of internet packages when on the road. My domestic calls at AIS cost 1 Baht for first minute and 0.25 for every following minute. Below a screen shot cropped from AIS eService (internet). I assume DTAC has something similar where you can also check call details/where your money is drained.
CharlieH
Are you receiving promo sms messages regularly ? some of these actually cost you to receive, make sure they are disabled. (possible drain)
KneeDeep
Have you switched off çellular data' on your Smartphone? Best to change the main promotion on your SIM to Go Plearn; Free internet to prevent data leakage All networks 0.69 baht / min 30 baht *103*55*9# and then press the Dial key
