Two Indian nationals were arrested in Sa Kaew Sunday for overstaying their visas, Sa Kaew immigration chief said.

Pol Col Benjapol Rodsawat, commander of the Sa Kaew Immigration Office, said Dharmveer Singh, 23, and Rajendra Prajapati, 28, were arrested under “Operation X-ray Outlaw Foreigners” put in place by acting Immigration police chief Pol Maj Gen Surachate Hakpal.

Benjapol said the two were arrested at a market in Ta Phraya district where they were selling goods to residents, adding that they were charged with overstaying their visas and working without a permit.

I think most of them would be immigrant workers without proper paperwork, not 'tourists' on overstay.

This is how the operation should work, not random raids without cause.  Now, go to lower Sukhumvit between Sois 13 and 19 and arrest all the South Asian nationals selling fake watches.

They must have stuck out like a sore thumb in Sa keow, backwater of nowhere
