After many years of great service I managed to drop my Sammy I9070 S Advance.

Screen's cracked and all black save for the menu and back function buttons at the bottom so it appears to be working but I obviously can't see the pin input screen to unlock.

 

Fortunately I regularly back up all contacts, texts etc using MyPhoneExplorer but now need to access the phone using my laptop to get the media off the phone.

It's not really worth repairing so does anyone know of a way to enter the pin to unlock?

Put the phone into recovery/download mode by press volume down and power (or volume up on some phones) and plug into the PC.

Should see your phone in windows explorer and be able to access the folders
