snoop1130
Whatever! '90s classic Clueless is getting a remake By Gemma Peplow, entertainment reporter Don't mess with a classic... Clueless, the 1990s teen classic that taught us school grades can always be negotiated, that Alaia is, like, a totally important designer, and the word "kvelling", appears to be getting a remake. Released in 1995 and starring Alicia Silverstone as Cher Horowitz, the impeccably dressed teen who showed us the importance of a computerised walk-in wardrobe, the film was a box office smash and went on to become a cult classic. Twenty-three years later, Paramount Studios is said to have hired Marquita Robinson, a writer and story editor on Netflix's GLOW, to write the script for the reboot, while Girls Trip's Tracy Oliver is set to produce the movie. Oliver tweeted a report on the news and said: "Crazy excited to be producing a *new* take on one of my favorite movies of all time, #Clueless, with the hilarious and super talented @MarqRobinson writing it. As if." Full Story: https://news.sky.com/story/whatever-clueless-is-getting-a-remake-11535898
zaphod reborn
It turns out that Stacy Dash, the African-American actress in the film, was really "Clueless". After working as a commentator on Fox News, she tried to run as a Republican candidate for Congress from Compton, California. Compton is 33% African-American and is unsafe due to gang activity. A month after declaring her candidacy, and after a disasterous TV interview where she really did reveal that she was "Clueless", she terminated her run for Congress. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/reliable-source/wp/2018/03/30/stacey-dash-said-put-up-or-shut-up-when-declaring-her-run-for-congress-a-month-later-shes-out/?utm_term=.4e91f5f3a2c0
connda
"Clueless" describes present day Hollywood and their inability to produce anything that is original and instead depends on unending sequels and unending Marvel comics movies (that all look mind-numbingly the same) in order to maximize profits $$$Cha-Ching$$$. Originally is now kicked solely into the realm of obscure film festivals. Edited October 27, 2018 by connda
