And 1 yr back a family experience of this with 7 yr old girl bullied every day by 4 boys. Total class size 30 students. When the girl told her parents they quickly went to the school, headmistress refused to talk to them sending a message they should talk to the teacher. School admin. said have to make an appointment 7 days ahead to talk to the teacher and up to the teacher whether she is willing to talk to you.....

Bullying is a part of the Thai ethos and it doesn't stop with schools, it extends to Universities, Armed Forces Training, bullying is even de-rigeur in some offices. It's all a part of a primitive cultural and hierarchical tradition and stretches from the bottom of Thai society to the very top.
