BANGKOK, 5th November 2018 (NNT)-The Association of the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (ACUPT) has given high school students advice on how to compile an attractive portfolio, giving them a better chance at being selected by universities under the Thai University Central Admission System (TCAS).

The ACUPT held a seminar for Mattayom 6 students with the aim of helping them prepare for college entrance. They learnt how to make their portfolios outstanding, under the guidance of university representatives to increase their chances of being accepted into their favorite school.

TCAS requires a portfolio to include 10 pages of A4 paper that contain a student’s academic record as well as a self-introduction essay. Students are urged to present themselves in an honest way in order to get the attention of universities. The portfolio is one of four college application options under the new system in which high school graduates can choose an application that best reflects their strengths and ambitions.
