I'm looking for a broker that will let me, as a U.S. citizen, trade U.S. and Canadian stocks and also

wire me money directly to my Thai bank account.

Comex, commodities, and forex would be nice as well, but those first two are

the most important ones for now.

I only trade US stocks: Charles Schwab, Interactive Brokers, TD Ameritrade.

You can order wire transfers into Thai banks.

Oh good.  Thank you very much!   I'm going to sign up either way so I guess I'll know soon enough, but do you happen to know if any of them offer CDN stocks to Americans?

Interactive Brokers only charges a penny per share for CDN stocks (minimum one dollar), and there is no minimum account size, so it's a much better option for me than Schwab.

I second the nomination of Interactive Brokers.

Best global broker in the world from my point of view.

OK, so I have funded my new account at Interactive Brokers and want to use margin.

What am I supposed to check here?  I'm a long-time resident of Thailand but am a U.S. citizen.

(see attachment)

EDIT: I see now.  Choosing either US or other in the first column, then US in the second column, gives the best result - the first six boxes in the 3rd column.  Margin REquirements.png
