james.d
Hello, My UK bank is requesting that both my wife's and I complete a "confirmation of identity" as I am updating my records, I have a list of who can do this but it seems to be UK/EU specific. Has anyone done this recently from Thailand?, does it mean a trip to the British Embassy for both my wife and I? (Will the British Embassy confirm for my Thai wife) Thanks and Regards. topt
Presumably you mean they want a certified/notarised copy of your passports? Perhaps ask them if they will accept notarisation by a Thai lawyer which should be a bit cheaper than going to the British Embassy. That's what I did for one of my financial services providers.
