Soodesune
Hi guys, How many times can one get a Non-ED visa by studying a single subject like English or Thai language? I paid for a 1 year English course on February and I've been studying for 9 months, getting extension stamps every 3 months. I want to get another 1 year course for the new ED-visa in the next year, but some people say you can't get ED-visa twice for the same subject, while other say you can study same language for two years. I need more precise information. Thanks in advance! Edited November 9, 2018 by Soodesune
ubonjoe
For basic Thai language the base line is 600 hours of study which works out to about a year and a half of study. That is based upon 400 hours which is required for a a year of total stay. After the year you have to go out for another non-ed visa. Then you can get another 6 months by enrolling in a course of study of 200 hours. If you can find a school that offers advanced studies you can get another year and a half of stay. 1
