khman
Hi, I would like to know if you know some luxury/fancy restaurants, in Samui, preferably in a nice hotel, where you can have diner for strictly less than 1000THB/person (included taxes, service, and excluded wine)? It can be tasty thai food, pizzas, pastas, anything, but the restaurant needs to be luxury/fancy/romantic, with good staff, ... Yes, for this price I will not have Wagyu meat, or a big seafood platter... no worries. Some I know already... not very luxury but OK, nice... : Prego, Poppies, ... Thanks much for your help.
khunPer
It's depending what you call luxury hotel – 5-star ? – and how many course dinner you expect for 1,000 baht. To my knowledge it might be difficult to find a for example 3-course set dinner in a 5-star hotel for 1,000 baht all inclusive, but drinks; however you might find a main course within that budget. But there are many nice restaurants, also beach side, where you can dine for 1,000 baht. ????

Birdman
Almost every better hotel is doing theme buffets, like Mongolian Night, Seafood Market, Meat Lovers BBQ and so, most common is the Thai Buffet Night, in the high season for 700 up. Some also in the low season like the Centara Grand for exapmle for 800++

Good to know that they are still around....but it appears that the original chef, Wally, has long since moved on.
