November 16, 20187 yr Not sure why is Thailand don't have self drive moving vans or trucks for daily hire as i need one for a CM trip, anybody knows where to rent one?...
November 16, 20187 yr Self drive? Usually foreigners don't have the necessary driving license. I must admit that I don't know the exact limitations for "Personal car" as the usual driving license is called (in Germany is was allowed to drive a 3.5 tons small truck with a car license). For the rest you are simply right. Can't remember seen anything like a self drive moving truck. Edited November 16, 20187 yr by KhunBENQ
November 17, 20187 yr This man has very good references on facebook and is very reasonable. If needed I am sure he would gladly just give you the advice you need. He is from South Africa originally and speaks English. Here is the link to his facebook page. Like KhunBENQ mentioned I think for a commercial type vehicle there is a difference class license you need, that is probably why these vans and trucks are not easily rented. Good luck. https://www.facebook.com/christianarthur.richards?fref=gs&dti=734539703251936&hc_location=group_dialog Edited November 17, 20187 yr by BobTH
November 17, 20187 yr Bob gave me the link to your post so I can answer you here. When you've read the attachment you will know how the price is calculated. From memory I think the last trip to CM was 12,000B
November 18, 20187 yr Driving a removal van would be classed as working a job you are not allowed to do. Plenty of removal companies that don't charge a lot in Bangkok.
September 20, 20241 yr I paid last 2 times recent years around 10,000 - 13,000 baht to move 2 bikes and boxes by truck from CM to BKK as well Phuket to BKK.
