BOT (the Central Bank of Thailand) just released a comprehensive report on the Thai economy and the link to it is shown below. It covers all aspects of the economy including property, tourism, loans, trade, debt, wages, employment etc etc - each topic is graphed so there's not much reading involved, just look at the charts to see today versus history and the associated trends - it's a pretty interesting document for anyone interested in economics and will answer many questions and allay several myths:
