Damn, whats with the Air?

Featured Replies

I woke up this morning to London Pea Soup here in Thonburi, I couldnt even see the Rama III Bridge. I guess Ill stay home today and relax, but what is going on?

Not great, but not so bad either.  The visible stuff is not necessarily the same as the PM2.5 that's the worst element in the air.

It will be worse in the weeks and months ahead.

Its looking nicer now and as I can see the bridge and the orange alert is on, maybe I can get some pics later after my nap!

Maybe all those smokers who have to stand outside and away from no smoking signs ????

or the millions of vehicles, building dust, coal fired power plants with some field and plastic soi rubbish burnings thrown in for good measure ????

Ground fog... mixed with auto exhaust. But mainly ground fog. Common this time of year. Used to call it Tule fog back in California.

3M  N95 masks are very effective when the air is very bad....I don’t get migraines like last year.

Ground fog is always around these cooler mornings at this time of year, nothing different from any other year. "AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT YOU CAN GET BACK TO YOUR OWN COUNTRY THIS INSTANCE, SO STOP BASHING THE THAI'S AND THEIR WEATHER!"

To quote from the old Bill Murray movie, Stripes: “Lighten up Francis.”

Don't they call Bangkok the "Big Smoke?"

Smog season is just starting, basically from November and then trending upward into early next year Jan.-Feb., before then trending downward by March and into April. The trend lines are pretty similar every year.
