The best actors demand the best chefs.

 

So when movie legend Robert De Niro came to West Yorkshire his personal caterer was none other than Eric Paxman.

 

Eric, who runs Eric's restaurant and Pax Burger, Lindley, made five meals for the American-Italian actor during his two-day stay in a hotel near Huddersfield.

 

De Niro, the star of blockbuster films such as The Godfather Part II, Goodfellas and Taxi Driver, had been in West Yorkshire to give a talk about his career at the New Dock exhibition centre in the Royal Armouries, Leeds, on Monday.
