One dead, two injured as car crashes into petrol pumps

The driver was killed and two passengers were injured on Saturday when a car careened into a petrol station in Pathum Thani's Lad Lum Kaew district, hit two petrol pumps and then crashed on its side.

 

The accident at the petrol station of Phol Perm Ltd in Tambon Khu Bang Luang did not cause a fire.

 

Workers at the petrol station told police that the car suddenly came off the road and hit two gasoline pumps and then flipped on its left side.

 

The dead driver was identified as Boonrod Thusita, 38, who was the chief of a movie shooting crew of Sam Sian Co.

His two injured workers were identified as Siriwat Sriphan, 22, and Panakorn Rodkwan, 31.

 

Police have yet to interrogate the two injured people and check CCTV footage to determine the cause of the accident.
