December 2, 20187 yr National economy to grow steadily: FPO supawadee wangsri BAGNKOK, 1 December 2018 (NNT) - Fiscal Policy Office (FPO) Director Lawaron Saengsanit confirmed that the national economic situation has reflected growth of the Gross Domestic Product. However, analysis of the overall economic situation requires economic stability which is reflected in other economic indicators, such as inflation. Since 1999, the national economy has been growing at an average rate of 4.1 percent per year reflecting an appropriate level of economic growth while the inflation rate was at an average of 2.0 per cent, which would not result in any increase in the prices of goods and services. In 2017, the Thai economy grew by 3.9 percent and the National Economic and Social Development Board expected it to grow by 4.2 percent in 2018 (as of November 2018) which is in consistence with the economic growth rate at potential level (potential GDP) of about 4.0 percent. -- nnt 2018-12-02
December 2, 20187 yr Middle class growth ? Are there more wealthy people ? If all the country's growth is focused among 1% of the population, these percentages are nothing to be proud of .
December 2, 20187 yr Who would believe stat's from this bunch of crooks who doctor all figures to make themselves look clever ? To say that 2% inflation rate will not result in any increases to prices of goods and services is hogwash. These people obviously don't monitor things like Supermarket prices over a period of a few years; if they did they would have a different view !
December 2, 20187 yr And more hair will continue to grow steadily on my head (and I'm NOT talking about my ears and nostrils!).
