Billboard Praising Prayuth As Next PM Replaced

RATCHABURI — A giant billboard calling for the junta leader to remain in power in Ratchaburi province has been taken down Thursday following complaints, while a deputy government leader says it was not equivalent to campaigning politically.

 

The roadside billboard featured an image of Gen. Prayuth Chan-ocha shaking hands with British Premier Theresa May and captioned “Go Inter.” After photos of the billboard spread online and drew denunciations, it was replaced today by an advertisement for a temple event.

Seem to be same stunt but different outcome. The red bowls “new year greetings” from Thaksin & Yingluck got one lady charged for sedition. Then the calendars resulted in 2 men intimidated and told to report to the army base. More dirty tricks by the scheming junta. 

Teaser May is getting a proper schoolyard kicking off all sides at the mo' .. Hanging with her at the roadside might incur more image harm than good ..

Funny, but at first glance I read the headline as:

 

'Billboard Replacing Prayuth As Next Pm Praised'.

 

Alas, wishful thinking.

What a planet Thailand is, he goes campaigning and his cronies say he's not campaigning.

 

For those of you who maybe unsure, He is campaigning, and in this case he is using a dreaded Fallang to try and get some cred.

On the other hand, it says more about the modern world than it does the junta leader.

Depending on perspectives, one could find virtually all heads-of-state Junta-like or associated.
