DUAL PASSPORT

Featured Replies

HI there guys,

I have been coming to Thailand since 6 years with my Belgian passport that is expired by now.

In case i use my Algerian passport which i never used in entering Thailand, would that be an issue with IO?

Cheers

If entering on your Algerian Passport you'll need a Visa...

.....and if there are no outstanding issues regarding entry (excessive entries already, refusal, rejection or black listing etc) with your existing (expired) Belgian Passport, then I don't see why you should face any issues when entering on your Algerian Passport with a Visa.

It's likely that when entering, Immigration will be able to 'link' your passports (Belgian and Algerian) based on your metrics i.e. Name, DOB and photograph etc

You would certainly need a visa to enter the country. Not sure where you would be able to apply for it at though since Algeria is on the list of countries whose citizens must apply for a visa in their home country or the designated Thai embassy for that country.
