December 13, 20187 yr The much touted highest ferris wheel is nearing completion in Yaowarat Rd, Phuket City, adjacent to Tesco. Only problem is they seem to have been confused about how high it needs to be to get the record. It's only about the size of the one I rode as a kid in the local Luna Park! It appears they're constructing some sort of fair ground with a number of rides and other attractions. It appears to be part of the massive new undercover markets also near completion.

And it wouldn't surprise me if there are other, higher ones.

The tallest is Ain Dubai at 210m.
